THE FRIENDS OF ST BOTOLPH’S CHURCH – TRUNCH
The Friends of St Botolph’s, Trunch is a charity established to raise funds for the repair, maintenance and improvement of the church building, its fixtures and historic artefacts, and the churchyard.
St Botolph’s Parish Church is predominantly 14th century and includes a wonderful hammer beam roof, a magnificent 15th century font canopy, a finely decorated and carved wooden rood screen and choir stalls.
It is a Grade 1 Listed building and therefore of great historic importance. The Church is used for both worship and community events, concerts, cinema and the like. It is at the heart of our village and dearly loved by residents and visitors alike who want to maintain it for the enjoyment of all for future generations.
The funds raised and managed are independent and separate from the religious affairs of the church. Donations are given for the purposes noted above and that is how they will be used. If a donation is given for a more specific purpose the donor’s wishes will be respected. If you would like to give money on this basis please contact us <fosbtrunch@gmail.com> and we will make the necessary arrangements.
